Changing focus…

…I’m a shakespeare nut in a huge early modern community. Today’s blog is actual, simple words, without focusing on Shakespeare alone.

A link from serendipities brought me back or rather opened me up to the reams of sites out there dealing with Renaissance and Early modern issues. Often these voices are trapped in the gum of academia, carving out niches in topics and subjects otherwise forgotten.

I mean the Early Modern Period is what created a Shakespeare in the first place, so it should take precedence. Except Shakespeare is what interested me in researching his Period. Either way I’m interested.

Well to further that interest I created a scholarly renaissance blog roll off to the right. Because, because, because, because of the wonderful things it does!
